Hello Everyone,
You are invited to my annual Thinking About Homeschooling meetings for 2012. Please pass this information on to your church, PSSP's, etc. Most of all, please invite friends and family who are thinking about homeschooling/homepreschooling. Those who are already homeschooling are encouraged to consider coming to help encourage others, or to be encouraged yourself. Here is the information:
Thinking About Homeschooling Meetings, 2012
Thinking About Homeschooling is a Christian ministry whose goal is to help parents who are considering home education make an informed decision and get off to a great start. Individual mentoring is available. All the meetings/mentoring is FREE.
I am happy to announce the dates for our annual "Thinking About Homeschooling" meetings for 2012. These meetings are for those who are new to homeschooling (one year or less), thinking about homeschooling, or those who want to be encouraged or encourage others. The dates this year are as follows:
Tuesday, May 8: Making the decision to homeschool (this is a great refresher for anyone who is suffering from burn-out, too.)
Tuesday, June 12: Legalities and record keeping (and usually an introduction to curriculum)
Tuesday, July 10: Choosing and using curriculum ( my longest and most popular topic; curriculum methods, types, samples and usage tips)
Tuesday, August 14: Teaching preschoolers and Kindergartners
Tuesday, September 11: The homeschool lifestyle/homeschool helps and tips
