This club exists to give young chess players (no age limit!)

an outlet for their talented pursuits. Come and enjoy!

Creative Writing Club - Advisor Sandy Armstrong -

These club meetings consist of business, then writing

together, playing word-related games, and publishing a

regular online journal of student news and creative writing.

Age requirement is junior high and above. You can access

back issues here.

Drama Club - Advisor Sandy Armstrong -

This club works on improvisational acting, and writes and

rehearses short, mostly light-hearted skits which may be presented to HERC

audiences or at other venues as the opportunities arise.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Advisor Naomi Moss -

This is open to Christian homeschooled athletes in any

sport! Naturally, the meetings usually consist of some

athletic endeavors! If you would be interested in joining,
please contact Mrs. Moss.

Veritas Honor Society - Advisor Vicki Carlson

This club is the longest-standing HERC club, and exists to

honor and encourage students for all excellent efforts, not

only in academic areas, but in other learning areas. The

primary activity of this club has been its annual entries into

the Kern County Christian Youth Film Festival

HERC Ambassadors - Advisor Jim Turner

This club, founded by HERC visionary Peggy Turner, is a service club which exists to foster relationships between the ministries of Calvary Bible Church and HERC students. All HERC students and parents are its members, and will be called upon to volunteer at select CBC events. The club will meet as announced on the 5th Thursday of the month in room 321
